Tenses in passive sentences

1- Remember that the passive is ' be ( is, was, will be ... etc. ) + past participle.
2- In the passive sentence 'BE' has the same tense as the verb used in the active sentence.
=> Present : am, is, are + (past participle) - Past simple : was, were (+ past participle) etc...
Ex1 : Someone helped them => They were helped.
=> The verb in the active sentence has a past simple form.
=> 'Be' in the passive sentence also has a past simple form = were
Ex2 : Someone will translate it => It will be translated.
=> The verb in the active sentence has a future form.
=> 'Be' in the passive form also has a future form = will be
1- Someone handed a box to my father => A box to my father.
2- Someone has offered Jane a wonderful present => Jane a wonderful present.
3- Someone will propose improvements to the new owners => Improvements to the new owners.
4- Someone has suggested another plan to the deputy manager => Another plan to the deputy manager.
5- Someone will award her a scholarship => She a scholarship.
6- Someone would announce his arrival to the refugees => His arrival to the refugees.
7- Someone has lent them scuba-diving suits => Scuba-diving suits to them.
8- Someone is going to explain the project to the students => The problem explained to the students.
9- Someone has named him chairman => He chairman
