Je vous propose un exercice sur les prépositions : at, in et on . A vous de compléter les phrases ci-dessous :

- on or at the corner of the street (au coin de rue, à l'angle de la rue)

If it can be of a little help... waiting for our Medi correction, of course !

I just could't help using a certain word in this post....

Car la question est de savoir s'il fallait dire "look at" ou "look on" s'agissant de regarder mais pas de paraître...

Eh bien, votre MystO' est partie en investigations auprès de ses agents de renseignements anglophones.

Look left or Look to the left before crossing/you cross the street.
Ici, "look" est utilisé comme impératif, donc nous devons utiliser "Look left".

Je suis désolée de venir contredire les propositions de notre amie Medi, mais vous me connaissez !

N'oublions pas non plus que nous avons des phrases sans contexte, dans les exercices que nous proposons et que cela nous permet d'ouvrir les questions

Comme promis voici la correction sur les prépositions :

1- There's no one in that room.

2- I always have breakfast at 8
in Saturday mornings.

3- Look on the left before you cross the street.

Concernant la phrase n°7 : "in the corner" le professeur se trouve dans le coin ou l'angle de la classe pour surveiller ses élèves
Concernant la phrase n° 3, voici quelques explications :
left :
adjectif gauche : my left hand : ma main gauche
adverbe à gauche : to look left or to look to the left : regarder à gauche
nom à gauche: on the left, la gauche : the left

Mais effectivement les phrases proposées dans ces exercices sont sans contexte...
Merci à vous tous d'avoir participé à cet exercice et à Nobody de poser toutes sortes de questions pour pouvoir effectivement faire travailler nos "méninges"

On dit : On Monday et In the morning , juste ?

Je pense que on Monday morning est correct

Ma question est : dans la phrase 2, mornings est au pluriel, est ce que cela implique que le on devient in ?

Fame je vais essayer de répondre à ta question en te faisant mille excuses car une erreur de frappe s'est glissée lors de ma correction

voici la bonne correction de la phrase :
2- I always have breakfast at 8 on Saturday mornings.

On saturdays : le samedi ( tous les samedis)
On saturday mornings : le samedi matin ( tous les samedis matin)
